Charles Akerlow is a Utah-based land developer and multi-family property construction professional. He began his role as managing director at Zenith Development, LLC, in Salt Lake City in 2017. Charles Akerlow has worked in the real estate development industry since 1974, having facilitated the lease of over 1.5 million square feet of office, industrial, and commercial space, in addition to more than 350 condo and townhouse units and approximately 1,400 hotel rooms. His combined commercial and residential projects have an estimated value of $1.8 billion.

Mr. Akerlow studied political science and law at the University of Utah, graduating with a master of science. His career achievements include American Plaza, the first of Salt Lake City’s Redevelopment Agency projects, an initiative he helped fund. The project featured multiple office buildings of 70,000 square feet, a Hilton hotel, and a 360-unit condominium development. Other portfolio highlights include the 4,500-acre master-planned community Centennial-SunCrest, and urban residential projects like Woods Cross Town Center and Union Square in Ogden.

Charles Akerlow is a veteran of the United States Army and a Bronze Star recipient. His professional memberships include the Urban Land Institute and, previously, the ULI Utah District Council.
